In the arms of God

Hello, everyone. When I see how busy and active others are in God’s service, I can easily feel discouraged and useless. However, God knows exactly how much each of us can manage, and there are many ways of serving him…

In the arms of God

Clouds and thick darkness surround him (Psalm 97:2).

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms (Deuteronomy 33:27).

But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content (Psalm 131:2).

Father,
I love you so much,
And wish I could serve you actively,
As others do.

Yet perhaps there is no need to strive:
Perhaps it is enough
To enter the darkness around you,
Whispering my love,
And resting in your arms,
Like a little child.
