Hello everyone. Sometimes it seems impossible to get things right, as today’s prayer discusses…

Getting things wrong 

• We all stumble in many ways (James 3:2).
• …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Father,
I’m sorry I get things wrong.

Sometimes I walk by,
When I should have lent a hand,
Or intrude,
When I should have held back.

Sometimes I speak clumsily,
When I should have stayed silent,
Or say nothing,
When I should have offered comfort.

Sometimes I get angry,
When I should have been patient,
Or fail to confront a problem,
When I should have spoken out.

It’s so hard to get everything right, Lord.
Please forgive and help me.

I ask this in Jesus’ name,
Amen.
