Love
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them (1 John 4:16; NIV).
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16; NIV).
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us (1 John 5:14; NIV).
