Forgiveness
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ (Ephesians 4:15; NIV).
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us (Luke 11:4; NIV).
Lord,
When someone hurts me,
Please give me the courage
To be direct with them,
Speaking the truth
With honesty and love.
Then, however they respond,
Help me to forgive them,
Not only with my lips,
But in my heart.
Through Jesus’ name,
Amen.
