This God – his way is perfect (Psalm 18:30; NRSV).
…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good – except God alone”
(Mark 10, 18).
Father,
We all sin,
And fall far short
Of your glory –
Especially me.
May I always remember
That no one is perfect,
Except you alone.
Help me not to expect
Too much of people,
Then I won’t be shocked,
Or lose my faith
When they hurt me.
