Lord,
May there be no more flogging,
No more unjust imprisonment;
No more violence, cruelty,
And torture;
No more hatred, prejudice,
And discrimination;
No more war.
May we, your people,
Become at last
As you intended
When you made us
In your own image –
For you are Love.
