NOT WORTHY

Not worthy

I am not worthy of all the love and faithfulness you have shown to me” (Genesis 32:10; NLT).

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun (2 Corinthians 5:17; NLT).

“I am not even worthy to come and meet you” (Luke 7:7; NLT).

Lord,
I’m not worthy
To be loved,
Yet you adore me.

I’m not worthy
Of forgiveness,
Yet you pardon me.

I’m not worthy
To be healed,
Yet you restore me.

I’m not worthy
Of new life,
Yet you redeem me.

I’m not worthy
To draw near,
And yet you welcome me.

Faith, hope, and love

Faith, hope, and love

Three things will last forever – faith, hope and love – and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13; NLT).

So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift (Romans 4:16; NLT).

This letter is from Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, appointed by the command of God out Saviour and Christ Jesus, who gives us hope (1 Timothy 1:1; NLT).

But each day the LORD pours out his unfailing love upon me (Psalm 42:8; NLT).

Lord,
Thank you
For giving me faith,
For without it
My life would be barren.

Thank you
For giving me hope,
For without it
My life would be pointless.

And thank you
For giving me love,
For without it
My life would be meaningless.

Through Jesus’ precious name,
Amen.
