Contemplation

…I call out to you for help (Psalm 31:17; NLT).

They will call on my name, and I will answer them (Zechariah 13:9; NLT).

God is light; in him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5; NIV).

Worship and serve him with your whole heart (1 Chronicles 28:9; NLT).

Father,
During contemplation,
I call out to you
Again and again;

And slowly, slowly,
Despite many distractions
Along the way,
I come into your light,
And worship you
With all my heart.
