Heaven

“Be still, and know that I am God!” (Psalm 46:10; NLT).

Lord,
Is contemplation
A foretaste of heaven?

No sound,
Or movement.

No thought,
Or need.

No sorrow,
Or pain.

No time,
Or place.

Just light,
And peace.

Deep joy,
And love –

The infinite bliss
Of unity with you.
