God’s glory

“God is more glorious than the moon; he shines brighter than the stars” (Job 25:5; NLT).

From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance (Psalm 50:2; NLT).

God is light (1 John 1:5; NIV).

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship (Psalm 19:1; NIV).

So God created human beings in his own image (Genesis 1:27; NT).

“For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21; NKJV).

“Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom” (Matthew 13:43; NLT).

Lord,
You are more glorious
Than the moon.
Your radiance is brighter
Than the stars,
And your light streams
From everything you make –
Including us.

May we, too,
Shine like the sun
In your kingdom today.

Through Jesus’ name,
Amen.
