We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love (1 John 4:16; NLT).
For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26; NLT).
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12; NLT).
Lord,
We are naked
And empty-handed
Before you,
Every day –
Men and women,
Young and old,
Rich and poor,
Sick and well –
Yet you love us all
So much,
For we are
Your children.
