Today you showed me
That the people I find toxic
Form a hierarchy –
The easiest to manage
At the bottom,
And the hardest of them all
Right at the top.
Please help me as I learn
To stand my ground
And be direct
With all of them,
Starting with the easiest,
And practicing
Till I can face
The toughest of them all.
