So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27; NLT).

There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28; NIV).
Lord,
I don’t believe at all
That you intended
Women to be inferior to men
In any way.
Nor did you mean them
To have less power,
Freedom, choice,
Or independence.
Even Saint Paul acknowledged
Our equality in full –
But only when he was at
His very best!
