Back home

They have lost their way and can’t remember how to get back to the sheepfold (Jeremiah 50:6; NLT).

They will ask the way to Jerusalem and will start back home again (Jeremiah 50:5; NLT).

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders
(Luke 15:4-5; NLT).

The Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost (Luke 19:10; NLT).

The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7; NIV).

Lord,
The central purpose
Of our lives
Is finding our way
Back home again,
To you;

But even if we lose our way
Completely,
We know you’ll search for us
And find us,
Carrying us home again,
With joy.
