Listen

When you hear a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, be on the alert! (2 Samuel 5:24; NLT).

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8; NIV).

Samuel was sleeping in the Tabernacle near the Ark of God. Suddenly the Lord called out, “Samuel!” (1 Samuel 3:3-4; NLT).

After the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:12; NLT).

Listen to me, my child,
When I march in the tops
Of the trees.

Listen to me, my child,
When I walk in the cool
Of the breeze.

Listen to me, my child,
When I call your name
In the dark.

Listen to me, my child,
When you hear my voice
In your heart.

    WHY WOULD HE DO THIS?
