Happy New Year everyone, though I know that for many of us, this won’t be an easy time. Life can be very hard, but the New Year does offer us the chance to make a fresh start. That’s what today’s prayer is about, so I’m sending it out early, for the sake of those who are struggling.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10; NLT).

New Year –
The time
To face our losses squarely;
To grieve,
In preparation to move on.
Then accept, adapt,
And give up all self-pity,
And do our best
To learn to live again.
