Lord, be merciful to me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against You (Psalm 41:4; NKJV).
He shall preserve thy soul (Psalm 121:7; KJV).

Ooo, I’m so chuffed you want to use my words … yes, of course! :D You know, Ruth, I get so much pleasure and value from reading other peoples’ poetry that I’ve never really thought about it. When I read this one of yours, it made me feel happy and those words I replied with sort of just popped into my head … as if they belonged to the poem. I hope that doesn’t make it sound like yours was incomplete! XXX
No problem at all! I shall revisit that piece of writing and see how it works out with your additional words. It can be a joint enterprise! When things pop into your head, like that, if you note them down immediately, you can try forming them into a poem or a prayer later… XXX
