All things danced

All things danced
As I passed by today –

Grasses, trees and birds
Tossed by the wind,

Breakers in the bay,
Dogs running on the sands –

All seized with joy,
Including me,

All caught up
In wild ecstasy,

Dancing as one, with you, Lord God,
Upon your outstretched hands.
