Lord,

Thank you for each truth you taught,
Each step you took,
Each gift you brought.

Thank you for each word you spoke,
Each healing touch,
Each rule you broke.

Thank you for each sign you gave,
Each tale you told,
Each soul you saved.

Thank you for each act of love,
Each wound received,
Each drop of blood.

This is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many (Matthew 26:28; NLT).
