I thought some of you might be interested to see how a prayer can continue to grow, even after I think it’s finished. So here, as a bonus, is yesterday’s blog, with a brand-new, unexpected second half, written this morning:
Come, sit with me
And seek my voice;
Then you will know me,
And rejoice.
Come, rest with me
And seek my face;
Then you will share
My peace and grace.
Come, walk with me
And take my hand;
Then you will join
My pilgrim band.
Come, take your cross
And follow me;
Then you will find
You’re truly free.
