Dying

Lord,
My flesh is dying:
Please make my spirit new.
Then I will constantly rejoice,
Although my days are few.

Lord,
My mind is dying:
Please make my spirit strong.
Then I will pray unceasingly,
And worship all night long.

Lord,
My heart is dying:
Please make my spirit clean.
Then I will thank you constantly,
Although you are unseen.

Lord,
My life is ending:
Please make my spirit whole.
Then I will see your face at last,
As you receive my soul.
