Children, women, men

Those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.
(Matthew 20:16; NLT).

1. Father God, you love us all:
Children, women, men;
No matter what we say or do:
Children, women, men.

2. You wait for us to seek you out:
Children, women, men;
And long for us to love you, too:
Children, women, men.

3. You want us all to learn and grow:
Children, women, men;
For you made us with great delight:
Children, women, men.

4. You sent your Son to die for us:
Children, women, men;
And all are precious in your sight:
Children, women, men.

5. To you, our Father, we are one:
Children, women, men;
The weak are strong, the strong are weak:
Children, women, men.

6. With you, there’s neither slave nor free:
Children, women, men;
And no such thing as Jew or Greek:
Children, women, men.

7. For you, Lord God, are one with us:
Children, women, men;
And we are always one with you:
Children, women, men.

8. So may we live in unity:
Children, women, men;
And love all as our equals, too:
Children, women, men.
