Sorry

Hello, everyone, I’m so sorry to have accidentally published an unfinished prayer whilst working on it (it’s called “At the heart”). I’ve done my best to remove it, but email followers will still see it, unfortunately. I’ll try to do better as the year progresses! Hope you will all have an amazing spiritual journey in 2020, drawing closer to God each day.
With love from Ruth xxxxx

      • You know me very well… already working very hard on the next one! Radioactive scan in Liverpool tomorrow so am slowly getting ready today between bouts of writing XXXX

      • I empathise with you, Ruth, for having to have the scan, but I’m a teeny-weeny bit jealous that you’ll be in Liverpool, albeit not as a tourist. I’ll be thinking of you and praying. xxx

      • I’m laughing – don’t be too jealous. After the isotope is injected, I have to drink loads of water and pee a lot for three hours before having the scan. To begin with, I had ambitions to see the cathedral, but because of the super-hydration, it’s not going to be possible. Thank you for your prayers, though. I really appreciate your support XXXX

      • Ruth, if you can possibly manage it, try to get to the Metropolitan Cathedral. They have toilets … or ask the hospital to fit you with a catheter!
Sorry to joke about such a serious subject … can’t seem to help myself! The Met is fabulous though. I know you’ve already been, but it would be great if you could get there again. :)

      • I just have a distant memory of the cathedral, which I saw so many years ago that I can’t even remember how old I was or why I was there. I think it needs to be seen on a non-hospital trip, to do it any sort of justice. At the most basic level, I’ve got to get up at 5.30am, and won’t be back until late, after a long day of challenging (claustrophobic), hospital treatment and travelling. I’ll need to preserve every ounce of energy I can in order to cope. Have never made a two-way trip in one day, so it’s a very big proposition for my chronic fatigue XXX

      • I understand, Ruth. It would be better to set aside a day when you’re not feeling stressed and you can enjoy the experience better. Let’s hope it’s not too far away. xxx
