Love

You must love the Lord your God with all your heart,
all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind (Luke 10:27; NLT).

We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19: NIV).

1. I love you, Lord, my Teacher,
With all my fragile mind,
Because you first loved me, Lord,
And you are always kind.

2. I love you, Lord, my Shepherd,
With all my stubborn heart,
Because you first loved me, Lord,
And you’re with me, in the dark.

3. I love you, Lord, my Refuge,
With all my barren soul,
Because you first loved me, Lord,
And you have made me whole.

4. I love you, Lord, my Saviour,
With all my feeble might,
Because you are my Maker,
My Way, my Peace, my Light.
