Pour out your heart to him (Psalm 62:8; NLT).
1. Prayer is worship,
Thanks, rejoicing;
Prayer is sorrow,
Fear, and pain.
2. Prayer is spending time
With Jesus,
As he loosens
Every chain.
3. Prayer is mercy,
Love, and healing;
Prayer is sharing
Every sin.
4. Prayer is being one
With Jesus,
So that we can grow
Like him.

So true Ruth, there are many elements of prayer that help us grow and flourish in our Lord and God. Thank you and God bless your ministry sister.🙏
Ha! I’ve never thought of my prayers as a ministry, but that made me smile xxxxxx
Ruth your prayers are imperative to God’s work. It is an under valued ministry in the church, without which the church could not function. Think of it this way…the church is a mighty cruise ship. The pastor and leaders are the captain and his officers. Those who sail in the vessel praise the captain and his officers, not thinking for a moment the ship goes nowhere without the work of the engineers in the engine room. Those serving God in prayer are the engineers in the engine room of the church, without whose service the church could not function.
What a lovely metaphor! I’ll try to remember that. Many thanks xxxxxx
I like it so much myself it blew my mind…I feel a blog post coming out of it!😉
That made me smile – go for it! XXXXXX
