In loneliness

Keep on seeking, and you will find (Matthew 7:7; NLT).

1. In loneliness,
I search, Lord, for your presence.

2. In weakness, Lord,
I long to sense your might.

3. In silence, Lord,
I yearn to hear you speaking.

4. In darkness, Lord,
I wait to see your light.

  • Silently waiting on the Lord is an often overlooked discipline. It is one of the most fruitful ways of getting close to the Almighty, especially in times of pain. In the silence He cloaks us in His serenity and renews our heart in Him.
Praying for you Ruth, my dear sister.

      • Even though my cellulitis is all but gone the healing of the damaged leg has slowed down significantly. Bouts of exhaustion and pain come and go which is quite frustrating. Maybe this is my lesson in patience? Haha😁
In all this I remain thankful and praise God for His provision.

      • I’m so sorry you’re suffering, but suspect all this damage will take a good while to repair. I’m praying for you, and have faith that you will slowly heal, whilst learning much that is of great value XXXXXXX
