Prince of Peace

He will be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
(Isaiah 9:6; NIV).

1. I love you, Lord,
My Counsellor and Friend,
God’s Holy One.

2. I worship you,
My Father and my Guide,
God’s only Son.

3. I praise you, Lord,
Almighty God and King,
Our great High Priest.

4. I rest in you,
My Saviour and my Rock,
The Prince of Peace.

They drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4; NIV).
