I love you

My beloved is mine and I am his
(Song of Songs 2:16; NIV).

1. I love you, and you love me;
Lord God, that’s all I need.

2. Whatever setbacks I must face,
And though my heart may bleed,

3. Help me to learn from what goes wrong,
And then to start anew,

4. For, come what may, you love me still,
And, Father, I love you.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39; NLT).

      • It’s clear that you vary somewhat from day to day, but would you say that overall you’re moving in a helpful direction? XXXX

      • My pain level varies widely from day to day. I can live with small levels but sometimes it rages without warning, just to remind me it’s still there…haha. Things are improving slowly, yesterday my huge scab on my leg came off naturally at last, which is a step forward. I am grateful though Ruth, I know there are people in worse pain than myself. Our Father God uses such situations to build our faith and make us stronger in Him – Hallelujah!

      • I do understand, Alan, and I continue to pray for you. Strong pain is very commanding, and tells us when we must focus solely on resting in God’s hands. He is amazing, and loves us very much XXXXXXXX
