One day

The one sitting on the throne said,
“Look, I am making everything new!”
(Revelation 21:5; NLT).

1. One day,
You will give me a new body.
Then, at last,
I’ll walk, and dance, and run.

2. One day,
You will give me a new mind, Lord.
Then, at last,
I’ll grasp all you have done.

3. One day,
You will give me a new spirit.
Then, at last,
I’ll never fear again.

4. One day,
You will give me a new heart, Lord.
Then, at last,
I’ll weep with joy: Amen!

Let God transform you into a new person
(Romans 12:2; NLT).

1. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies (1 Corinthians 15:43-4; NLT).

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have the power together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19; NIV).

3. I will […] put a new spirit in you (Ezekiel 36:26; NIV).

At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster (Zephaniah 3:15; NLT).

They will eat and sleep in safety, and no one will make them afraid (Zephaniah 3:13; NLT).

Tears of joy will stream down their faces (Jeremiah 31:9; NLT).
