Waiting

Father,

1. May I worship you
With every breath I take,

2. Rejoicing in your holy name,
Although my heart may ache;

3. Communing with you constantly,
Although I feel alone,

4. And waiting for the day
When you will lead my spirit home.

  • Waiting for and worshipping God is hard when the body is in pain. The pain isolates us as we try to cope moment to moment, but it is in these times that He draws closest to our struggling spirit. In such moments I have had no words to pray but He still blessed my outstretched hand. What an awesome God!

    • I honestly think that this wordless prayer is the best of all, bringing us the losers to God. Hoping you will have as little pain as possible today, though! XXXXXX
