The love of Christ

My old self has been crucified with Christ.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me
(Galatians 2:20; NLT).

1. The love of Christ
Shines in my hands.

2. He walks with me
To light the way.

3. The breath of Christ
Sustains my life.

4. He gives me hope
And strength each day.

5. The blood of Christ
Beats in my heart.

6. He touches me
To make me whole.

7. The peace of Christ
Calms all my fears:

8. He makes his home
Within my soul.

  • Oh wow! I mean this is amazingly beautiful Ruth. I am blown away by our union in His Spirit, this is something very special indeed. I have to say Almighty God has His hand in these writings. May others understand this and be blessed by it in Christ alone. God bless you Ruth.

    • P.s. So your my reader from the Isle of Man! I didn’t know this Ruth, I thought you were from the USA…like most folks. The Isle of Man is a beautiful place.

      • Oh, when did you visit, Alan? It is indeed beautiful, and on a smaller, more manageable scale for those of us handicapped by health issues.
I don’t know whereabouts you are in Scotland, but as a bird flies straight across the Irish Sea, we are not too far apart! XXXX

      • I have not been to the Isle of Man yet, I have always intended to visit it someday though. I live in Fife on the East coast of Scotland, situated between Dundee and Edinburgh.

    • Yes, God is truly amazing! The day after I’ve written a prayer, when I read it through, it’s as if I had no hand in it at all – just as if it were written by someone else. May God bless you, Alan. I hope you will have a manageable day XXXX
