Let the Father in

In the Lord alone are deliverance and strength
(Isaiah 45:24; NIV).

1. Let the Father in today,
For he, alone, can pardon sin.

2. Let the Teacher in today,
For he, alone, can save your life.

3. Let the Spirit in today,
For he, alone, can heal your soul.

4. Let the Lord God in today,
For he, alone, can make you whole.

  • I always remember a painting I saw that was inspired by Revelation 3:20. There was Jesus—standing at the door—but there was no door knob on His side. We must open the door to our hearts to God. He will only knock. Blessings.

    • He will indeed. I love that painting, too. In fact, I’ve thought about buying a print and having it framed for my bedroom. Bless you, David, for your support, kindness and active faith xxxx
