Rest and remain

1. Help me, Lord, to rest in you today:
To look for you
In all who come my way;
To be like you
In all I think and feel,
So I can help this broken world
To heal.

2. Help me to remain in you today:
To care, like you,
For all who come my way;
To be like you
In all I say and do,
So I can offer love to all,
Like you.

  • Being secure and at peace in Him in all circumstances is not easy. Particularly when your world is in turmoil. Yet rather than feeling downtrodden, seeking to be blessed by others presence and to bless them is the Godly way to overcome our trials. Not seeking self but Godliness in others will bring His blessings on you. An amazingly deeply profound poem Ruth!
