No power in the sky above or in the earth below – indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39; NLT).
1. On earth, Lord,
And beyond our death,
We live forever
In your love.
2. On earth, Lord,
And beyond our death,
We walk together
In your light.
3. On earth, Lord,
And beyond our death,
We rest united
In your peace,
4. For all are one
With you, dear Lord,
And all are precious
In your sight.

Amen to that! How is your back today, Alan, and how is Susan? xxxxx
Sorry for the delay Ruth. My back has still a long way to go, although it is very slightly better. The spasms have stopped. Susan is doing well and managing her food carefully, we still haven’t heard from the hospital for her. I hope you are doing well sister.
Hello, Alan. Thank you so much for your news. In terms of your poor back, any progress in the right direction is good, however small and slow it is. Are you still using the strong painkiller? I do hope you will soon improve further. It’s good to hear that Susan is doing well. I pray in the mornings that she will be able to swallow her food, and take her meds without any horrible choking. As long as she is managing, maybe it’s almost a good thing that she’s not been called back to the hospital yet, at this very bad time for Covid infections.
Yesterday’s migraine has retreated, for which I am very grateful. Today I am facing up to the dawning realisation that I’m not going to manage my new bike, which, coincidentally doesn’t work properly. It’s got to go all the way back to Cambridge to see if they can make it work. If they do, I’m hoping to give it to my daughter-in-law, who lives not too far from Cambridge.
I see more and more clearly how God brings good out of absolutely everything, as long as we are looking for that silver lining hidden by our dark clouds.
Take care, both of you, and may God draw you together, blessing and healing you both. With love from Ruth XXXXX
