🧡

I am suffering and in pain
(Psalm 69:29; NLT).

Lord,

1. In pain,
I share your dread,
And glimpse your final test.

2. In pain,
I sense your zeal for God,
And see your love expressed.

3. In pain,
I feel your brokenness,
And cry to you anew.

4. In pain,
I grasp the truth, at last,
For here, Lord, I find you.

If we are to share his glory,
we must also share his suffering
(Romans 8:17; NLT).
