Thank you

🤎

Give thanks in all circumstances
(1 Thessalonians 5:18; NIV).

1. Thank you, Lord,
For all you give
To us, both good
And bad.

2. Thank you, Lord,
For all you send:
The joyful,
And the sad.

3. Thank you, Lord,
For all you grant:
For life, and health,
And loss.

4. Thank you, Lord,
For all you share:
Our fear, our pain,
Our cross.

  • This is great Ruth! I quoted this verse with someone else yesterday and here it is, straight back at me. It is so easy to be thankful in nice times, but being thankful in the hard times is a true mark of Godliness and grace. It is my prayer that I can meet my challenges each day and remain thankful to God our Father.

    • What a wonderful “God-incidence”! (There’s no such thing as a “coincidence” to my mind). Sending heaps of encouragement, as you practice thanking God for the pain, sorrow, challenges and losses of life p we can practice this together! XXXXXX
