I have learned to be content
whatever the circumstances
(Philippians 4:11; NIV).

1. I am content, Lord,
To dwell in your hands –
Whatever you take,
And whatever you give.

2. I am content
To abide in your hands –
Whatever you ask,
For as long as I live.

3. I am content, Lord,
To die in your hands –
Whatever the suffering,
Right to the end.

4. I am content
To remain in your hands –
Together, forever,
My Master, and Friend.

Whether we live or die,
we belong to the Lord
