I delight

🧡

1. I delight
In your forgiveness,
And rejoice
In your great love.

2. I exalt
In your salvation,
Lord, my God,
In heaven above.

3. I submit
To every test,
And undertake
To bless each foe.

4. I commit
To follow you,
My Lord, my God,
On earth, below.

  • Those key words “delight, exalt, submit, commit” are strong meditation points Ruth. They are both a test and a guidance to our spiritual wellbeing. Thank you for this sister, I pray that you are blessed this beautiful morning.

    • Hello, Alan, thank you so much for your lovely comment and very kind words. If you have any prayer energy to spare, please could you pray for John? He was taken by ambulance from our GP practice yesterday around 6pm, was a long time in A&E, reaching a ward at about 2am. He was very confused, disorientated, trembling, raised temperature, and in pain. We don’t have a diagnosis yet. I wasn’t allowed to be with him, because of Covid, but should be able to take a bag this morning, and hope to visit this afternoon. He is in a completely separate room from other patients, as a precaution. Meanwhile, I do hope that you and Susan will have a manageable day. With love from Ruth XXXXX

      • Thank you so much, Alan. I deeply appreciate your prayers Just sitting down for a rest after an exhausting day. John has no clear diagnosis yet, but he is being well looked-after with intravenous antibiotics and painkillers. XXXXXX
