My soul finds rest in God
(Psalm 62:1; NIV).
Lord,
Throughout life’s
Fleeting test,
You are my narrow path,
My rest;
My flesh and blood,
My heart and soul;
My origin,
My final goal;
My light, my truth,
My bread, my wine –
For I am yours,
And you are mine.
I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine
(Sing of Songs 6:3; NIV).
What a beautiful prayer sister! How often we must hold onto the fact that this troubled life is but a moment in eternity with Him, Hallelujah!
God bless you and bring you peace today Ruth.
Thank you so much, Alan – you’re so encouraging! If you have time today, do let me know how you both are. May God bless you today, whatever you face XXXXXXX

Perfect, many thanks, Alan XXXXX
“You are my narrow path,
My rest;”
Following Jesus can ‘exciting’ but He always provides the rest we need on the paths He leads us.
the lines from an old hymn “Trust and obey for there’s no other way…” comes to mind
Amen!
