I see you

He went on a little further and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

I see you praying
All alone:
Begging God
To spare your life.

I see you dying
All alone:
The perfect, spotless
Sacrifice.

I see you lying
All alone:
Your triumph over sin
Complete.

I see you rising
All alone:
I run to you,
And kiss your feet.
