Beginning

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(Genesis 1:1; KJV).

1. Father: the beginning;
Heaven and earth
Created out of love. 

2. Holy Ghost: descending
Over sunless waters,
Like a dove.

3. Jesus Christ: forgiving;
Light in darkness
Ceaselessly outpoured.

4. Here I am: returning
To paradise, with you,
My living Lord.
