Do not fight

It is useless for you to fight
against my will
(Acts 26:14; NLT).

Do not fight
Against God’s will –

Accept all that he sends,
Both ‘good’ and ‘bad’

With thankful heart;
Praying and rejoicing without cease –

For all his gifts bring wisdom,
Truth, and peace.

I create the light and make the darkness.
I send good times and bad times.
I, the Lord, am the one who does these things
(Isaiah 45:7; NLT).

In all things God works for the good
of those who love him

(Romans 8:28; NIV).

First and Last

I alone am God, the First and the Last
(Isaiah 48:12; NLT).

1. What God wants
Comes first.

2. What God wants
Is good.

3. What God wants
Is mercy.

4. What God wants
Is love.

5. What we want
Is fleeting.

6. What we want
Is past.

7. What we want
Is fruitless.

8. What we want
Comes last.

Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us
(Colossians 3:11; NLT).

💙

Only God is truly good (Luke 18:19; NLT).

1. God is good —
There’s nothing more to say.
He longs for us,
And wants to help each day.

2. God is great —
There’s nothing else to add.
He cares for us,
When we are sick, or sad.

3. God is perfect —
Who will dare deny?
He watches us
And understands each sigh.

4. God is faithful —
None can disagree.
He loves us all, and waits
For you and me.

🖤

1. Touch my body,
Bind each wound,
For I am faint,
My strength, consumed.

2. Touch my mind,
Correct each thought,
Until I realise
I am naught.

3. Touch my heart,
Yoke me to good,
And fill me with
Your perfect love.

4. Touch my soul,
Make me like Christ
Your Son –
A living sacrifice.
