God is Spirit
(John 4:24; NLT).

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit
(1 Corinthians 6:19; NLT).

1. Holy Spirit,
Light of God,
Guide us on your narrow way.

2. Holy Spirit,
Fire of God,
Shield us from your wrath today.

3. Holy Spirit,
Truth of God,
Teach us all to hear your voice.

4. Holy Spirit,
Peace of God,
Help us to accept your choice.

5. Holy Spirit,
Love of God,
Keep us always in your hand.

6. Holy Spirit,
Heart of God,
Bring us to your Promised Land.

Our Promised Land

He has known your walking through this great wilderness (Deuteronomy 2:7; HNV).

1. There’s nothing else
We need to do in death:
Our work is done.

2. There’s nowhere else
We need to go:
Our race on earth is run.

3. There’s no one else
We need to see but God,
Who takes our hand,

4. And gently draws us
Back into his soul:
Our Promised Land.
