I glimpse your glory

They could see the awesome glory of the Lord
in the cloud (Exodus 16:10; NLT).

1. Lord,
I glimpse your glory in the skies:
Your planets, clouds and stars,
Your sun and moon.

2. Lord,
I sense your beauty in the earth:
Your forests, hills and valleys,
Flower-strewn.

3. Lord,
I feel your power in the sea:
Your currents, waves and storms,
Your ebb and flood.

4. Lord,
I know your presence in my prayers:
Your still, small voice, your light,
Warmth, peace and love.

Sovereign Lord, you made the heavens and earth
and the sea, and everything in them
(Acts 4:24; NIV).

Nothing

No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven
(John 3:27; NLT).

Lord,

1. There’s nothing I can do
To earn the love you give each day,
Nothing I can do
To win your help along the way;

2. There’s nothing I can do
To grasp the joys you want to share,
Nothing I can do
To gain your peace in all I bear;

3. There’s nothing I can do
To make the sunlight you supply,
Nothing I can do
To find your truth before I die;

4. There’s nothing I can do
To be at one with you today,
Nothing, Lord, at all –
Except believe in you, and pray!

In everything

There is […] one God and Father,
who is over all and in all and living through all
(Ephesians 4:5-6; NLT).

1. Lord,
You are in everything around us:
All we touch, and taste,
And hear, and see.

2. Lord,
You live in everyone beyond us:
Each neighbour, stranger,
Those from whom we flee.

3. Lord,
You dwell in everything above us:
Every star and planet,
Moon, and sun.

4. Lord,
You are for evermore within us:
In exile, then in heaven,
When life is done.
