Heaven on earth

1. Son of God,
You give me love,
So I dwell in heaven above;
And, as I mature and grow,
I will live in heaven, below.

2. Son of Man,
You calm my fear,
So I rest in heaven, here;
And, as I become like you,
I will live in heaven, too.

3. Lamb of God,
You fill my mind,
I will not leave heaven behind,
For, as I perceive your worth,
I will live in heaven, on earth.

Love is all

Where there is neither weakness,
Fear, nor pain.

2. Father God,
I melt into your mind,
Where there is neither striving,
Sin, nor stain.

3. Father God,
I melt into your heart,
Where there is neither hatred,
Guilt, nor gall.

4. Father God,
I melt into your soul,
Where we are one in love,
And love is all.

Communion

Father,
May this sacred Host
Stay on my tongue today,
Then I will grow more like your Son
In everything I say.

Father,
May this precious Host
Become part of my mind,
Then I will grow more like your Son,
For my thoughts will be kind.

Father,
May this blessed Host
Be drawn into my heart,
Then I will grow more like your Son,
And choose the better part.

Father,
May this perfect Host
Remain within my soul,
Then all I think, and say, and do
Will help make others whole.

Dying

Lord,
My flesh is dying:
Please make my spirit new.
Then I will constantly rejoice,
Although my days are few.

Lord,
My mind is dying:
Please make my spirit strong.
Then I will pray unceasingly,
And worship all night long.

Lord,
My heart is dying:
Please make my spirit clean.
Then I will thank you constantly,
Although you are unseen.

Lord,
My life is ending:
Please make my spirit whole.
Then I will see your face at last,
As you receive my soul.

I ask you in

I love you, Lord,
And ask you in;
May my flesh be
Your breathing-space.

I love you, Lord,
And ask you in;
My mind, your earthly
Dwelling-place.

I love you, Lord,
And ask you in;
My heart, a home
Where you may rest.

I love you, Lord,
And ask you in;
My soul, your temple,
You, my guest.

The miracle of life

Lord,

Thank you
For the miracle of life:
You make us and sustain us
Day and night.

You grant us breath and shelter,
Water, food;
This Earth to cherish,
Constantly renewed.

Your send your Son:
His teaching, flesh, and blood,
To show us all
Your deep, unfailing love.

You give us minds,
So we can grow like Christ,
And hearts, so we can grasp
His sacrifice

For us, and see, at last,
What makes us whole:

One world, one human race,
One blood, one goal;

One peace, one truth, one love,
One God, one soul.
