The prayers in this section are offered for use by those of us who live with mental illness. This one is for people who have panic attacks, which I share. It can be said before facing any feared situation, but, most importantly, if written clearly on a card, or learned by heart (preferably both), it can also be said repeatedly throughout an attack, whilst waiting for it to pass.
He will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6; NLT).
1. Jesus,
Wondrous Counsellor,
You know the cross I bear.
2. Jesus,
Mighty God and King,
You understand, and care.
3. Jesus,
Everlasting Father,
You are always here.
4. Jesus,
Prince of Peace, my Lord,
Please help me face this fear.
