Without faith

I pray for those, Lord,
Walking without faith,
For life is hard when we
Dismiss your love.

I pray for those
Who suffer without faith,
For pain is hard when we
Forget your blood.

I pray for those, Lord,
Dying without faith,
For death is hard when we
Reject your grace.

I pray for those
Who meet you unprepared –
Awestruck, Lord,
To see you face to face.

When I die

Lord,

When I die
My breath will slowly dwindle,

My thoughts and feelings fade,
My heartbeat cease;

Then my soul, with joy,
Will leave this body,

To reunite with you
In perfect peace.

Thank you, Lord

Thank you, Lord,
For loving us so much,
And waiting for us all
To turn to you;

For always being ready
To forgive,
And wanting us
To share your Spirit too.

Thank you, Lord,
For sending us your Son,
Our teacher, shepherd,
Living bread, and light;

Who died for us
So we can be forgiven,
And shows, in human form,
What you are like.

Live in hope

Hello everyone, I’m just home from hospital. Still pretty sedated and absolutely exhausted, but very glad to be here. More comfortable without wound drain and cannula. My love to you all XXXXXX

Lord,
When we stop trying
To be something
We are not,
And start accepting
All of what we are,
Then we begin
To live in hope,
With you.

When we stop longing
To be something
We are not,
And start accepting
All of what we are,
Then we begin
To live in peace,
With you.

When we stop dying
To be something
We are not,
And start accepting
All of what we are,
Then we begin
To live in love,
With you.
