Prayer, spiritual development, personal growth, faith, exploration, wholeness,

God’s essence

This prayer comes with many thanks to Fr. Leo Cooper for his inspiring words.

God is the essence
Of truth.

His Spirit descends
Like a sword

To strengthen his Son
For a lifetime,

For Christ is his essence
Out-poured.

God is the essence
Of healing.

His Spirit descends
Like a dove

To dwell in his Son
For a lifetime,

For Christ
Is the essence of love.
