Burdens

Give your burdens to the Lord and he will take care of you (Psalm 55:22; NLT).

Jesus said, “Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (Matthew 11:28-30; NLT).

Father,
I give you all my
Heavy burdens,
Gladly accepting
Your lighter ones
Instead.

Part of you

“You created all things” (Revelation 4:11; NLT).

There is one Lord … who is over all and in all and living through all
(Ephesians 4:5-6; NLT).

All who live in love live in God, and God lives in them (1 John 4:16; NLT).

The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7; NIV).

Lord,
How glad I am
To be a part of you –

Before my birth,
Throughout my life,
And after death.

How glad I am
To be a part of you!

When I feel empty…

When I feel empty…

Keep on seeking, and you will find (Matthew 7:7; NLT).

Praise the LORD! (Psalm 28:6; NLT).

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7; NLT).

Worship only God (Revelation 22:3; NLT).

Lord,
When I feel empty
And alone,
I seek you out
The very best I can.

And when I’m glad
To be alive,
I praise your name
The very best I can.

And when I wish
I’d never been born,
I tell you truthfully,
The very best I can.

And when you fill me
With your love,
I worship you wholeheartedly –
The very best I can.

Living in the presence of God

Living in the presence of God

Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy (Psalm 68:3; NLT).

And so I walk in the Lord’s presence as I live here on earth! (Psalm 116:9; NLT).

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence (Ephesians 3:12; NLT).

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; NIV).

‘You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him’ (Luke 4:8; NLT).

Father,
Please help me
To live in your presence
By rejoicing in you,
Praying constantly,
Giving thanks in all circumstances,
And serving you gladly
All day long.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
