Yet another chance

Lord,

You give me
Yet another chance:

It’s not too late to join
Your ceaseless dance;

For when I eat your flesh,
And drink your blood,

You make me fit to share
Your dance of love.

You gaze at me

You gaze at me,
I gaze at you;
We love each other
Through and through.

Help me to grow
More like your Son
In mind and heart,
Till life is done.

Then my small soul
Will join with yours –
Forgiven, healed,
Redeemed, restored.
